Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Carrier Sales Representative for their growing team in the Austin, TX area.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inbound and outbound calls to facilitate freight coverage and bookings
• Develop and own carrier partnerships
• Onboard new carrier partnerships
• Identify recurring shipments to match with dedicated carriers
• Negotiate rates with carriers
• Track and trace progress of each shipment
• Assist with collecting final paperwork from carriers for each shipment
• Communicate and collaborate with internal Sales and Account Management teams
• Troubleshoot issues throughout the shipping process

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience within a 3pl non asset-based logistics brokerage
• Hunter mentality with proven ability to book freight
• Strong organization skills ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment
• Ability to work in-office daily

Location: Austin, TX area - in-office daily (required)

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 base + commission
